K's 1 Month Glamor Shots taken by ME!

I haven't been back to church yet since K was born.  This last Sunday while everyone else was at church, I got trigger happy taking photos.  My photographer friend, Kristin Brown, gave me some tips on newborn photography.  I set up my "studio" on our guest bed conveniently positioned right under a window.  I used the light from the window to get these photos.  For my first attempt taking studio-like newborn photos, I was pleased with how they turned out.  K was SO good for me.  Here are some of my favorites:

Rosanne + Rafa = Engaged!

My sister-in-law, Rosanne is getting married in May! I met Rafa last weekend right before I took their engagement pictures. These two were fun to work with. I must say that this was my first photo shoot using my new camera and I was a little nervous. I am quite proud of myself for being brave and using manual mode. (In the past, I've always used auto mode.) Here are some of my favorite shots from our quick 30 minute photo shoot:

Clarke Family

It was snowing the morning of the shoot. I wasn't sure if the Clarke family would still want to follow through with our plans that afternoon. It was wet and cloudy that afternoon (cloudy weather is perfect for picture taking). The Clarkes were such good sports to brave the cold weather just for pictures. The kids were so good and I think I did pretty well for my quickest photo shoot ever. I took as many photos as I could in 40 minutes. Here are some of my favorites. I did some basic editing and I sure hope that the Clarkes like these. Enjoy!

WWYD (What Would You Do)?

I took these photos with my Canon SLR film camera in July 2007. No photo editing was done...no cropping, no nothin'. Which photo is your favorite? What would you do to improve that image?
