Kangas Family Photos

On a snowy Saturday morning in December, I meet up with this family of seven.  After scoping out the light inside and figuring out the proper camera settings, I went to work.  Here's my friend, Jen and her girls looking oh so gorgeous:

I must say that this was my first time doing a photo shoot in the snow.  I am pleased with how it turned out. Thank you to this family for being such good sports in the cold snowy weather!

Rosanne + Rafa = Engaged!

My sister-in-law, Rosanne is getting married in May! I met Rafa last weekend right before I took their engagement pictures. These two were fun to work with. I must say that this was my first photo shoot using my new camera and I was a little nervous. I am quite proud of myself for being brave and using manual mode. (In the past, I've always used auto mode.) Here are some of my favorite shots from our quick 30 minute photo shoot:
